Terms of Service
QUSD mint and redeem · QUANTVESTRIX, INC. · Last updated 18 September 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
These terms govern your use of the QUSD mint and redeem service at qusd.quantvestrix.io, operated by QUANTVESTRIX, INC., a Delaware corporation with registered office at 2828 E Trinity Mills Road, Carrollton, Texas 75006, United States (D-U-N-S 14-227-6892) ("QVTX", "we", "us"). By opening a mint or redeem session you accept these terms.
2. What QUSD is
QUSD is a deposit-backed stablecoin issued by QVTX and redeemable at one United States dollar per coin. On the XRP Ledger, QUSD is an issued currency of the account:
QUSD is also issued on other ledgers. Each issuing contract is a separate lineage: balances are never aggregated across chains by ticker, and only the contract you hold determines what you can redeem.
3. Non-custodial by design
- We never ask for, receive, hold, or store your private key, seed, or recovery phrase. Anyone who asks you for one while claiming to be QVTX is not QVTX.
- Transactions are signed by you, on your own device, in your own wallet. Where Xaman is used, the signing request is shown to you in the Xaman app and takes effect only when you approve it there.
- You are solely responsible for the security of your device, your wallet, and your keys. We cannot reverse, recall, or recover a transaction you have signed.
4. Minting
- You open a mint session and are quoted an amount, an accepted deposit asset, and a destination address with a destination tag.
- You must send the deposit to exactly that address and that destination tag. A deposit sent without the tag, to a different address, or after the session expires may not be attributable to you.
- QUSD is delivered to the address that funded the session, after the deposit is confirmed on the relevant ledger.
- A deposit smaller than the quote is reported as a partial funding and is treated as a deposit of that smaller amount. We do not silently round, top up, or invent the difference.
- You must hold a trust line to the QUSD issuer before QUSD can be delivered to you on the XRP Ledger.
5. Redeeming
- You open a redeem session, nominate a delivery method, and are given a burn instruction.
- On the XRP Ledger, paying QUSD to its issuing account destroys those coins on the ledger. That payment is the burn, and it is final. There is no undo.
- The burn comes first; settlement of the dollar leg follows the burn. Do not burn coins you are not prepared to have destroyed.
- Settlement is made to the delivery instruction attached to the session. If a third-party rail, bank, or exchange rejects, delays, or freezes that settlement, the delay is that provider's, and we will tell you plainly where it sits.
- We do not dispose of QUSD below one dollar and we do not require you to.
6. Sessions, quotes and expiry
Quotes and sessions expire. An expired session is not an obligation to transact at the expired price. Destination tags are single-purpose and belong to one session only.
7. Eligibility and compliance
- You must be legally capable of entering this contract and must not be a person or entity subject to applicable sanctions, nor act on behalf of one.
- You must not use the service for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud, or any unlawful purpose.
- We may decline, hold, or unwind a session where we are required to, or where we have reasonable grounds to believe it is unlawful or fraudulent. Where we do, we say so.
- You are responsible for your own tax position and for any reporting obligations in your jurisdiction.
8. What we do not promise
- We do not promise that any public ledger, node, bridge, exchange, or payment rail we do not operate will be available, correct, or timely.
- We do not promise uninterrupted availability of the service. It may be taken down for maintenance or in response to an incident.
- Nothing here is investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing here is an offer of a security.
- To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", and our aggregate liability arising out of a session is limited to the dollar value of the coins in that session.
9. Third-party wallets
Xaman is a product of XRPL Labs and is not operated by QVTX. Your use of Xaman is governed by its own terms. Signing in with Xaman shares your XRP Ledger account address with us for the purpose of identifying your session; it does not give us signing authority over your account.
10. Changes, governing law, contact
We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do, and continued use after that date is acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
